M is for Mutt! Our friends and family know that Bill and I are obsessed with dogs. We can’t have “any living animals” in our house for “any period of time,” and when you’ve grown up with multiple dogs all your life (or if you’re dating me, as in the case of Bill), that turns into leisurely walks to the dog park down the street to watch pet owners in all their happiness.

Though his hometown cats contend with small dog breeds for size, Bill doesn’t have a local home to run to with canines running around. While I actively whine about not having a dog, he has channeled his energy into dog art that fellow dog envy-ridden humans can enjoy.

Presenting: M is for Mutt and Other Tails! It’s a really adorable ABC book with one breed representing every letter of the English alphabet. Bill did all of the art, and Ian did the words. So basically, it’s really cute. (I could be biased not because I live with Bill, but because [SPOILER!] two of the featured breeds are Airedale Terrier and Tibetan Mastiff. I know me quite a few of those.)

Bill’s debuting M is for Mutt this weekend at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco. APE is my favorite of the Comic-Con family, replete with the indie-progressive artist vibe that’s more Outside Lands than iHeartRadio. Visit Bill at Booth 651, we’ll be there all weekend!
