Brittney and Dave introduced us to my new favorite French restaurant in Los Feliz of LA. Cafe Figaro is the star setting of a Louis Vuitton photo shoot with Madonna (and a State Farm commercial with their attempt at an everyman spokesperson who comes off as one of those smarmy guys who never takes his leather jacket off in the club), and they make major meat lovers really happy.
I didn’t stand a chance snapping pics of Bill’s and Dave’s pork tenderloin or steak. Their knives honed in on their cuts of meat like swift and silent, skillful ninjas. BUT, housemade pasta:
Raviolis de homard, sauce homardine: Housemade lobster ravioli with lobster bisque
It’s gorgeous inside:
One day I’d love to live in a house I own. A house with space and rooms that I can paint in muted, broody expat colors. I’d fill it with items from Gargyle’s ByKenyan collection and The Perish Trust.
