It’s popped up all over the American fashion blogs today, and as it’s the perfect marriage of Billiam’s and my interests, I simply have to host it here, too: Elle Spain does fashion designers up all Disneylike!

My favorites are the almost too easy Lagerfeld and Dolce & Gabbana. Kind of wish they had made Daisy “Donatella” Duck a nice orange hue, but hey, we can’t all be guidos.

Bill also shed some animation light on the actual designs of the things, something the budding animation enthusiast in me is just at the beginning of comprehending. The work was done by Ulrich Schröder, of French Disney freelancing and full timing:

Born in Aachen, began his career as a commercial artist, doing among others ‘Quicky’, an advertising comic for Nesquick. He is a freelancer for Disney since 1989, and has done mainly merchandising artwork and covers for the Dutch Donald Duck weekly. For years, he was the art supervisor for Disney in Paris, where he coordinated the artwork for merchandising and promotional materials.
