Here’s what two years of gift card accumulation will getcha. The entire day, I spent about 60 actual dollars. Those dollars came from birthday money, so in my mind I spent nothing. (This is a big deal, guys. I don’t go on dedicated shopping trips a lot.)

5733 – Two lovely tees as gifts: the Wan Chai and Anna May Wong Portrait (So now I have two pieces of clothing with the same print. Heh heh.)

Aritzia – Ines long grey viscose cardi-wrap, Community black convertible bamboo skirt – I love bamboo fabric! TMI: I even have a bamboo bra! Everyone should wear bamboo clothes!

Sephora – Fresh soy face cleanser, Lorac eyebrow pencil – Yes, I use up my gift cards on bare necessities I woulda bought anyway. This time I also got a sample of Kat Von D’s new perfume, thanks to Sephora’s Beauty Insider program. Beauty Insider is totally worth it, even if you only buy makeup-ish products once or twice a year like I do.

BCBG Max Azria – Gothic metal ring. Kind of Morticia Addams, and I like it! Particularly with this Hipstamatic photo filter. Thanks, Lotta, for all those tempting Hipstamatic photo updates! It got me hooked.

Puma – VINYL FIRST ROUNDS. OMGah. I don’t know many people who’d wear vinyl purple-to-magenta gradients on their high tops, so I decided to be that person. My only other First Rounds are men’s, so it’s kinda like I’m way overcompensating here with girly colors and SHINE.
