Some pretty exciting stuff is coming ’round the bend:
- MADE Jewelry – Totally flattered that the ladies of MADE would ask me to become a guest blogger! We’ve been communicating with each other somewhat randomly since the summer simply because we hit it off personality and interest-wise. First things first, though, I’m gonna finally meet the girls for happy hour next week. (Right after I return from NY! Yee!)
- Khamai Dance Company – I guess you could say that for those of us still invested in the group, we’ve been in a creative hibernation. Met with Hurt Me today and we’re bringing the company back – with a few specific revisions. Am. Stoked.
- Santa Clara University Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Chapter – Honored to have been approached to be a part of this founding group. How can it be that a Silicon Valley school surrounded by high concentrations of Asians does not have an API alumni group? Wild. I’ll be expressing my thoughts on the necessity for ethnic organizations at another time.
My mind’s been racing these days with all the things I want to do and all the projects I’ve been in on. A busy Mayka is a happy Mayka, though, so I am very grateful to be in this place. Filling my time with worthwhile things has made me realize that my time is indeed valuable, and the insight that I contribute to my projects is worth it. If you’re in a freelancing position or you’re entertaining the thought of being so, watch the Vendor Client Video.
And let that be the last time I pull in an image from a MySpace layout website. Nobody scanned and saved that old TI magazine spread? Nobody? I am disappointed in you, Internet.
