May this blog post serve as proclamation that Keylos and Maykazine aspire to be their own “comeback kids.” We’re headed to De La Femme’s company class tonight, to learn hip-hop in a studio when we haven’t danced together in…three years? I haven’t performed hip-hop in two, probably. Even my visits to the club (which served as fake practice for me) have plummeted since getting out of undergrad. Man, what is up with the non-universality of working from home or workdays that start at 10 or later? I used to be all over Tuesday night clubbing. But I digress.
Point is, we’re going to position ourselves in the back of the class, get our asses kicked by Buddha Stretch’s* choreo, and then freak out when he flips the focus and tells us to perform facing the back. As impetus to put my money where my mouth is, I’m going to be chronicling my re-entry into the dance industry here. Get ready, world!

Yea, definitely heard my neck crack during the routine (the tutting part) haha. My legs are sore from “attempting” to groove.
