Thank goodness I live in a house now, because I’m going to need some more wall space for the new pieces I acquired at APE yesterday. I got a gorgeous large print by Joel Michael Smith and this super cute flapper by Liana Hee, pictured below:

Just so happens she’s my favorite piece by Liana. (Even more so than the characters she did of Brit Sketch and me.)

Also, in explaining to Martin Hsu how I dance instead of do taichi, my mom told Martin, “No, she [meaning Mayka] likes to shake her booty,” accompanied with her interpretation of a hip-hop rump-shaking dance. Wow, Mom, wow.

I wish I could head back into APE today but someone’s external hard drive has to go sledding…Wish me luck!
