Before she got whisked away to Southern California, Girl Crack and I used to run wild through the aisles of the Bay Street Apple store. We showed the world how to sell technology with long curly hair, wearing flip-flops, constructing cardboard puppets on the weekends. While we’re apart physically, I like to think that we’ll forever be connected. Now that I’ve finally jumped onto the iPhone band wagon, together with our use of Twitter, Facebook, and double-yoo double-yoo double-yoos (That’s what my mom calls them. “Them” being “the Internet.”), we’re merely a couple of finger taps apart!
(…Freaky.)
Evidence of our virtual connectedness below. (Marie = Girl Crack)

Dear Miss Belgium,
I hope you enjoy my blog.
KIT,
Mayka Mei
I’m really amazed that she was able to teach an 80 y/o woman how to use FB and Twitter, let alone the iPhone applications. That’s one technologically advanced Belgian lady. My mom just recently discovered texting. And she calls me right after she texts me to let me know that it took her a long time to type out the text and send it to me.
HAH, that is so cute.
“Did you get my text? I just sent it to you.”
