It makes me smile to think that on Thursday she called me to tell me how natural she felt. “I really think I did my best,” she said. “But, you know how it goes. I might have done great as Coca-Cola, but if this year they want Pepsi, that’s how it goes.”

I have no idea who came up with that soda brand analogy, but that’s amazing! I will share it with my future children whenever they get beat up about subjective competitions.
