I didn’t do the standard “I am thankful for…” post. Instead, we’ll do the “Here’s what I ate and saw” post.
This was my most traditional Thanksgiving feast, ever. For some reason, I thought making spinach would have been a really good addition, but it was pointed out to me that spinach is not really a TG food. Judging by all the food there was to be eaten, I still think there really ought to be more fiber in the standard American TG dinner.
The next night, we went out to Holy Cow, where I highly recommend the garlic fries next door and dancing with this guy:
Apparently that guy is there every week, dancing on one of the boxes, lip syncing to the music, and not drinking. I aspire to be him. I might have a story to tell later about partying at Holy Cow. Might.
The next day we went to the San Francisco Zoo. It was the perfect day to look at animals and the kids they upstaged.
(I had problems with my birds that day. Peacocks were flamingoes and penguins, but never peacocks. At least I didn’t call them pigeons!)

Spinich would have been a great decision, I LOVE spinich (that sounded way too overenthusiastic – but I really like spinich).
I knew I was onto something! The next day I had an entire bag of sauteed spinach. It should be included in more feasts.
Sauteed spinach is the BEST. Go Fiber!
I’m drooling over those Parmesan rolls and profiteroles.
They were p-p-p-pretty delicious. :9
