Three to four months ago (Jesus Christ, really?) I posted about stumbling upon SHIBUE COUTURE – fine purveyors of strapless G-strings since… 2008. I think.

Anyway, around July, hits to one particular post on my blog started exploding, and by no promotional efforts of my own. For some reason search engines started bringing up theMaykazine more and more in response to Internet users’ quests for: panties, no panties, g string, panty, panty lines, men in g strings, panty pics, panty models, and the like. tM stats skyrocketed! And still, I’m not entirely sure why…

There was even some brief controversy when some bitchy commenter told me my thoughts were “lame!” Everyone knows you don’t have a real blog until you get anonymous bitchy commenters. Look out, Gawker.

A couple of weeks ago Jenny, the founder and CEO and designer of the strapless G-string, actually dropped a comment. She offered a free sample. I know better than to turn away an opportunity for free underwear, so I accepted her “challenge.” Thus, The Shibue Experiment was born. It’s taken a couple of weeks, but guess what package arrived for me today?
