The song don’t need em is a joke. His lyrics sound like he’s trying to be like weezy with all the “I’m like… you’re …”. Weezy is always doing that kind of shit like “I’m rare, like mr. clean with no hair” etc.

It’s about time an artist step up to the plate and address the nonsense. Hyphy has gone too far and too many bandwagon copycat rappers trying to make a buck on the trend ultimately led to it’s death, but the effects of going dumb still exist and it’s just sad. Props to Erk for using wit and humor to point out the silliness of it all and the direction we need to head in.

i moved from the bay area about three years ago and man…the hyphy music gets more and more wild as the years go on! that track from erk tha jerk is kind of ridiculous….
