• Tasteless, much?
  In case you didn’t know, I have a mild obsession with Go Fug Yourself Fug Madness Champ Bai Ling. I have her blog doubled up and feeding into both my Google Reader and Netvibes (plus I check it every day by going straight to the URL) and I don’t care that she’s one of those “Why is she famous?” Hollywood personalities. She’s amazing! I always smile when I read her blog, and when I attempt to analyze what the heck makes her so wonderful I realize that’s like asking why the sky is blue. Her entries always include a grainy photo from her Blackberry, her English is always broken and she doesn’t care, and she celebrates individuality and optimism to a degree that makes hippies seem bashful.

  She’s recently been posting about the China earthquake, and understandably so! Though my thoughts are with those in China and Myanmar just like everyone else’s ought to be, I’ve got to give her a red card for this entry. It’s an expression of genuine concern and sadness at the distance between her and her Chinese family, topped off with – a sunglassed Blackberry photoshoot in the Wedding Dress Department??

• Lil Wayne: No coke, no acne.
  Wayne tells Blender magazine, “I don’t do too many (drugs). I just smoke weed and drink. But I’ll never f**k with no more coke. It’s not about the bad high; it’s just about the acne: Cocaine makes your face break out. I’m a pretty boy.”
